What is GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European regulation that came into effect on May 25, 2018. It strengthens and unifies personal data protection within the European Union.
At IMMOTECTO, we take the protection of your data very seriously and are committed to fully complying with the GDPR.
Your Rights in Detail
🔍 Right of Access
You can request at any time what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of this data.
How to exercise: From your personal space > Settings > My Data, or by email to contact@immotecto.com
✏️ Right to Rectification
If your data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request correction.
How to exercise: Edit your information directly in your profile, or contact us for data you cannot modify yourself.
🗑️ Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")
You can request deletion of your personal data in certain cases:
- The data is no longer necessary
- You withdraw your consent
- You object to the processing
- The processing is unlawful
Limitations: We may retain certain data if a legal obligation requires it (e.g., invoices for 10 years, property inspections for 10 years).
⏸️ Right to Restriction of Processing
You can request restriction of processing of your data, meaning we keep it but no longer use it.
Applicable cases:
- You contest the accuracy of the data
- The processing is unlawful but you prefer restriction to erasure
- We no longer need the data but you need it for a legal claim
📦 Right to Data Portability
You can retrieve your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON, CSV) and transfer it to another service.
Data concerned: Data you have provided to us and that we process based on your consent or a contract.
How to exercise: From your personal space > Settings > Export my data
🚫 Right to Object
You can object to the processing of your data for legitimate reasons, including:
- Direct marketing (at any time, without justification)
- Processing based on our legitimate interest
How to exercise: Click "Unsubscribe" in our emails, or set your preferences in your profile.
🤖 Right Regarding Automated Decisions
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing producing legal effects or significantly affecting you.
At IMMOTECTO: The solvency score is calculated automatically but is only an indicator. The final decision to accept or reject a file always belongs to the landlord.
How to Exercise Your Rights?
Option 1: Online
Log in to your account and go to Settings > Privacy > My GDPR Rights
Option 2: By Email
Send your request to contact@immotecto.com specifying:
- Your identity (name, surname, account email)
- The right you wish to exercise
- Any useful information to process your request
Option 3: By Mail
Send your request to:

Response Time
We commit to responding to your request within one month. This period may be extended by two additional months if the request is complex, in which case we will inform you.
Complaints
If you believe your rights are not being respected despite your request, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority:
